In partnership with 160 countries, the Fulbright US Student program is the flagship international academic exchange initiative of the US Department of State. It offers over 2,000 opportunities for dedicated students like you to study, teach and pursue meaningful research and professional projects. Study opportunities include funding for your master’s or doctorate degree programs. In this workshop, you will learn about the key components of the application process, effective strategies for writing a competitive application, review the major countries with the most opportunities and the highest acceptance rates, and complete writing and reflection exercises to spark ideas for the first draft of your personal statement or statement of grant purpose. We will review examples of winning personal statements. Countries highlighted include but not limited to Spain, Germany, South Korea, India and Brazil.
